I'm Back!

To my refined friends in blogland - I've missed you!

I have been in a whirlwind couple of weeks. Where do I start. Here goes ... speaking, teaching, preparing for the previous, traveling all over for the previous, selling Socially Savvy books, TV tapings, social events, charity events, fashion shows, grand opening events, dinner club, dinner parties, birthday parties, cook-outs, cooking lessons, lakehome, lunch group, women's Bible study, co-ed Bible study, big Church, Maverick's basketball games, the list goes on ...

HOWEVER, my calendar came to a complete stop Tuesday night after a super day of speaking, traveling, coed Bible study, and take out dinner with JHW. Then it happened ... I ended up getting food poisoning and my world went from 90 to 0 in one hour. Those of you who have experience this dreadful thing - you know what I'm talking about. No words to describe it, but I'll try ... HORRIFIC! Wednesday, I was planning my funeral, Thursday, I thought I might live, Friday, I actually sat up, and today, I have rejoined the living.

One event I was extremely disappointed to miss was the annual Mad Hatter Luncheon on Thursday in Dallas. Oh! - It is my favorite. Everyone wears a fabulous hat and the Jan Strimple fashion show is always b-e-y-o-n-d ... This year she featured Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, St. Johns, and Jimmy Choo. I promise to confiscate more photos and post later - but here's one. My friend D'Andra (Mad Hatter's Honorary Chair 2010)
(See what I mean - fabulous hats!)
Next subject: In the mean time, mark your calendar's (if you live in Tx) for April 28th, and May 3rd. My Daily Talk with Dee and D'Andra TV segments will air on KTAQ at 1pm and 5:30pm. On the 28th - my topic is Tea Time and May 3rd we will discuss Sticky Situations. You don't want to miss it. Get ready to learn some valuable info and I know you can't help but laugh it up - because talking etiquette is FABULOUSLY FUN!
Main thing - I'm glad to be back and Im giving you big blog hug right now!
