My precious husband and I have been married eight years this past week. Time flies ~ whew! I received a beautiful flower arrangement
and a large suitcase full of fun and fabulous things like wonderful candles, picture frames, white chocolate popcorn, shortbread cookies, gourmet candies, and .... then I found a double Donny Osmond CD, along with an autographed photo of him and then ... drum roll please ~ BACKSTAGE PASSES TO SEE HIM (and his sister) in concert in Las Vegas! For those of you who did not grow up when I did - trust me on this one - Donny Osmond was the original American Idol for me and my gang. Looking at posters of him passionately singing, dressed in his white leather and playing Puppy Love over and over and over was a daily occurrence in my purple room. (Donny's favorite color was purple, thus so was mine!) Needless to say - I am thrilled about seeing him in concert and the possibility of meeting him in person in June! Oh - a childhood dream to come true~

Okay - one more thing - I attended my friend Amy's baby shower last Sunday. We were asked to wear our favorite Chapeau. For those of you (like me) who did not take french as an elective ... take a guess.
 A hat!

I think you should keep that husband of yours! And yes, Donnie Osmond was the bomb. I blame him for my obsession with purple.

Happy anniversary!

Congratulations on your anniversary.

I have always told Jim that the only way I will go to Vegas is if he gets tickets for the front row of the Donny and Marie show. Haven't seen any yet, but I'm patiently waiting. :)

Between Donny and Elvis, I just didn't know who I was going to marry......but Jim came along and solved my problem. :)
